Microsoft’s Announcement for the Future of Work

As caught by The Verge, Microsoft has posted an event on Windows for business scheduled for April 5, 2022.

The details are really sparse, and the description is as such:

The event should start at 11 am PST, so be sure to mark your calendar if you want to see what Microsoft has in store.

Plus, three break-out sessions demo Windows tools for productivity and collaboration, management, and security.

What Might Microsoft Announce in the Event?

Given the lack of details, it’s hard to say what Microsoft will show off during the event. There’s a good chance that the event will simply be Microsoft showing off its portfolio of existing applications in a bid to inspire businesses to use their services, such as Microsoft Remote Desktop.

However, there is still a chance that Microsoft will use the event to announce a new work program to help with remote work. Unfortunately, we won’t know which outcome is the right one until the event starts.

Something Old, or Something New?

Microsoft is planning to announce something for hybrid workers on April 5, 2022, at 11 am PST. As for what we should expect, we’ll just have to wait for it to go live to see if the company will announce a new product or use the time to present its current line of products.
