The timing of the system is still unclear, but it is said that players can use the money to buy gear which enables the players to acquire the items.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is the seventh major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and is set to be released on October, 28 this year. Retaining most of the game’s core-element, Assassins’s Creed Unity will see the introduction of cooperative multiplayer, a first in the series which will allow up to four players to play together. Arno Dorian, a native Frenchman is the primary protagonist of this installment which is set in Paris during the French Revolution era.
Vincent Pontibrand, senior director revealed his plans about microtransactions saying, “If we think it fits the gameplay, or the brand itself, the core values, we’re willing to take those risks. If not, then not. We’re not going to make any compromises."
The game is scheduled to release on October 28 and will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
