The Australian Classification has rated “Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition” on its official website. The game was rated on 25th March so we can expect to hear something from Warner Bros. soon.
The Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition has received a MA15+ rating in Australia. The game has been noted for having “strong violence”.
A lot of DLCs have been released for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and it may happen that the “Game of the Year” edition would feature all the DLCs. Although the Australian Classification Board has not revealed any content we can assume that the “Game of the Year” edition has all of the DLC included.
There has been a lot of controversy regarding game publishers releasing “Game of the Year” editions. In the recent past 2K Games announced that WWE 2K15 Season Pass would be available for free. Gamers that pre-ordered WWE 2K15 felt like they got slapped in the face as they forked out $24.99 for the Season Pass.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor had its own Season Pass too. This might lead to the early buyers feeling cheated again.
