After a deal for Nintendo to buy the studio fell through in the early 00s, Microsoft stepped up and acquired the team and its unique IP catalog. In 2015, the Rare Replay compilation was released for Xbox One, taking 30 years of the rich history that the Twycross company had created and presented them to a new audience and became a fan favorite. Seven years later, Microsoft looks interested in revisiting some of the more unique games created by the studio....

At some point in the last 24 hours, people attempting to access Bing from mainland China via the usual cn.bing.com URL discovered that the site was no longer available from inside the country. Rumours suggest that the move to block access to the site by the state-owned telecommunications company, China Unicom, was a result of a direct order from the Chinese government although these claims have yet to be substantiated....

It was certainly exciting news for video game fans who have toyed with the idea of purchasing the VR headset, opening up the number of games available to play. There was, however, something strange about the partnership with Microsoft: the Xbox giant already has a somewhat similar device in the pipeline. Microsoft announced the HoloLens, an augmented reality device and gaming peripheral, earlier this year. Obviously, a question had to be asked....

In an interview with CNBC, Microsoft’s President Brad Smith noted that the company would like to bring the Call of Duty franchise to Nintendo devices in the future. Travis Schoenborn, 31, who works at the EDS Schoenborn Orchard which his family owns in Ottawa County’s Tallmadge Township near Conklin, faces a misdemeanor count of assault and battery after his alleged tirade against the worker in July was captured on video. The footage, which was handed to Migrant Legal Aid and obtained by WOOD, shows Schoenborn yelling in front of a line of workers, and he appears to be directing the insults, including the n-word, at one worker in particular....

The team practiced four days between Feb. 29 and March 4 at IMG Academy in Bradenton. What Is Application Guard? Microsoft announced the new feature on the Tech Community website. The company also announced that it’s available to the general public to use as of today. However, Application Guard isn’t something that anyone can download and run. It’s targeted towards businesses, so it’s something that a boss or manager will have to activate for their workforce’s copies of Office. Once it’s enabled, Application Guard will open untrusted files in a protected manner....

This issue has been a problem since the Xbox Series X/S launched, with players reporting that their controllers would randomly disconnect from the consoles despite still having a charge. Though the Xbox Series X/S have been out for nearly a couple of months, the problem hasn’t been fixed, and Microsoft is now addressing the issue.
